Theresa Conroy, Certified Yoga Therapist
Theresa, founder of Theresa Conroy Yoga Therapy, a specialized practice offering Yoga Therapy in private sessions and small group classes, earned her Certification by graduating from two accredited Yoga Therapy Schools and meeting specific criteria for education and experience set by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
After spending 26 years as a newspaper reporter, Theresa left journalism in 2007 to pursue a career in Yoga Therapy. She continues to work as a Mentor to Yoga Therapists-in-training. She trains other Yoga Teachers and Therapists in Teaching Yoga for Parkinson’s Disease, Teaching Yoga for Special Populations, and Teaching Yoga for Neurological Disorders.
Diane Reibel, PhD
Dr. Reibel is the Director of the Myrna Brind Center for Mindfulness at the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health- Jefferson Health, and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Integrative Medicine and Nutritional Sciences.
Dr. Reibel is a world-leading authority on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She is one of a few experts that can certify teachers of MBSR, and those that she has trained can be found reducing stress throughout the world. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Reibel has developed at Jefferson numerous, innovative mindfulness programs for patients, professionals, and special needs populations. Her research in the field is widely published and cited, and she has co-authored the premier MBSR textbook.
