Sharon Friedler and Jon Sherman
Retired faculty of Swarthmore College, Sharon and Jon are experienced teachers of African, modern, and ballet techniques as well as dance composition, history, and theory. Jon was also a member of the PA Ballet School and University of the Arts faculties for almost 20 years and Sharon served as Director and Professor of Dance at Swarthmore College for almost 30 years, retiring in 2016. Sharon continues to work as an examiner for dance in the International Baccalaureate Program. Together they bring a wide variety of approaches designed to assist those living with Parkinson's and their care partners to embrace dance as one vehicle for building a more resilient and joyous life.
Lauren Zelouf, MSW, LCSW
Lauren is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice, where she received her Master of Social Work in 2018. During her Master’s program, Lauren completed the Penn Aging Certificate (PAC) program and gained specialized skills and knowledge in the field of Geriatric Social Work. She completed her advanced-year field placement with the Penn Memory Center and continued on as the Interim Social Worker following graduation. Lauren spent the last two years as an inpatient Social Worker in a skilled nursing facility.
Lauren is an active member of the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Workers (PSCSW). She has a passion for serving patients and families living with neurodegenerative disorders.
